SGSDR Under New Management:
Serendipity GSD Rescue’s founder MICHELLE WERTS stepped down as Executive Director in January of 2008 due to her own numerous commitments and endeavors in horsemanship competition.  We thank Michelle for all her hard work in establishing this organization, and she will continue to assist the rescue by serving as a Board Member and advisor.

 

RACHEL CLARK, based near St. Louis, Missouri, will serve as Executive Director for the foreseeable future and ABBY GRAHAM in Jefferson City serves as Secretary and oversees many of the rescue’s administrative functions. Rachel and Abby can be contacted at Serendipity.email@gmail.com.

 

Bark In The Park!  May 17th 2008
SERENDIPITY GSD RESCUE joined forces with new St. Louis GSD Rescue LINKSRHEIN GSD RESCUE  and formed the Team:  “German Shepherds Furever !!” to Walk for the Animals and raise funds for the Humane Society of Missouri's Dr. Doolittle Fund, which provides veterinary medical care for homeless pets so that they can go up for adoption.  Our ‘German Shepherds Furever !!’ Team raised over $1,835 for this worthy cause!  Sincere thanks to all our supporters who joined us on the day and/or supported our efforts!

 

2009 Rescue Calendar Competition:
Entries for our 2009 Serendipity German Shepherd Dog Rescue Calendar are being accepted from now until September 30, 2008. Entries do not need to be 100% purebred German Shepherd but they must be close. They don't have to be rescue dogs, but let us know if they are! Click here for more information.
